We loved dying eggs. The Easter Bunny always tricks us and puts the boys names on eggs and it is so surprising every time!

I wanted to get a picture of Benson holding his egg...it didn't go as planned, he was so excited to hold it that he got a little rough and he ended up braking it. He was devastated, but the boys thought it was hilarious.
It was a little chilly the Saturday before Easter so we hit the grocery store and Home Depot. It was perfect there was not a lot of people there and the kids got tons of eggs! Tru found a lucky egg and got a basket full of peeps!

Easter morning is always fun! The bunny left these sweatbands for them and they love them. Benson got a puppy that he has become very fond of!
So, as you know I was very sad that I didn't get a picture of all of us in our Easter best. So I was determined to get a picture of all of us on Easter day....that was NOT an easy task this year and I don't know why....so we tried... and as you can see it was not happening, Porter was missing, I look like I might cry, Matt is calling for Porter, good job Brig you look darling! So we gave up...And then I came to realize all of this "stuff" doesn't matter. Easter is not about getting the cutest picture, or the prettiest eggs, or even the cutest dress for church. It is about our Savior Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for him and for his sacrifice for me. It is because of him that I have all that I have. My wonderful husband, my boys who I cherish, my amazing parents, sisters, brother, the gospel. I feel blessed and feel happy about my not so perfect picture!
